There are a few Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who regularly take Holy Communion to the Housebound. Among them are the Holy Family Sisters whose Convent falls within the parish.
In addition to Communion visits, the Holy Family Sisters also work alongside other Catechists to facilitate preparation for the sacraments.
The Priest also visits the housebound periodically in order to keep in touch, pray with them and administer Holy Communion.
In improving our liturgy we recognise that it flows from as well as leads to prayer and worship.
We continue to improve our Liturgy through regular training of catechesis in the parish.
